Tommy Hilfiger announces the launch of the Spring 2017 Tommy Jeans collection from Hilfiger Denim. Tommy Jeans revisits iconic looks from the ‘90s with the brand’s logo used boldly throughout the men’s and women’s styles. The collection will be available at select Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, select wholesale partners, and online at tommy.combeginning mid-April, 2017.
The Tommy Jeans campaign features models and social media influencers Lucky Blue Smith, Anwar Hadid, and Sofia Richie. Smith previously appeared in the Spring ’16 and Fall ’16 Tommy Jeans campaigns, alongside model Hailey Baldwin. Gigi and Bella’s brother Anwar Hadid and Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia bring a fresh new look to the campaign, which was shot in Los Angeles by Instagram influencer Bryant Eslava.
“The Tommy Jeans capsule is about blending our ‘90s heritage and iconic styles from our archives with exciting pop culture influences from today,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Lucky Blue Smith, Anwar Hadid and Sofia Richie represent the youthful, rebellious spirit at the heart of the campaign, and bring a fresh new edge to the denim classics offered in the collection. Looking back on this era reminds me of some incredible memories – from our first collaborations with musicians and celebrities to our continued passion to celebrate pop culture.”
The Spring 2017 Tommy Jeans collection plays with washed out pastels in signature shades of red, white and blue, and embraces street culture inspired designs, with logo waistbands and athletic influences, that nod to an urban city landscape. The women’s collection includes cropped t-shirts and tops, pastel denim jackets and jean shorts, while the men’s offering features Americana inspired denim essentials, including jeans, shorts and jackets.
Global influencers photographed wearing Tommy Jeans, include Gigi and Bella Hadid, Zayn Malik, Suki and Immy Waterhouse, Jourdan Dunn, Caroline Vreeland and Nash Grier.
